About BIONIC Emergency Services

BIONIC Emergency Services has served Houston since 2011. Meet our IICRC-trained restoration team. Licensed, insured, locally owned.

Restoration work found its way into BIONIC Emergency Services’s focus back in 2011, and the reason has stayed the same since: water, fire, and storm damage don’t wait for business hours, and most homeowners dealing with it have never had to before. What started as a small operation answering calls around Houston has grown into a dedicated crew that treats every job the same way, whether it’s a slab leak under a kitchen or a roof that gave out in a June storm.

What we do

Most days start with a phone ringing at an hour nobody plans for. Because BIONIC operates 24/7, that call might come in at 2 p.m. on a Tuesday or 3 a.m. after a line break soaks a hallway. The work itself is less about the equipment (though there’s plenty of it, extraction units, air movers, dehumidifiers) and more about reading a situation fast: how far the water traveled, whether the drywall is salvageable, how a carrier is going to want the loss documented. A good portion of any given week goes into insurance paperwork, not because it’s glamorous but because a homeowner standing in a wet living room shouldn’t also have to decode claim forms alone. The job is equal parts technical and logistical, showing up, assessing, drying or cleaning or rebuilding to a standard, and keeping the person on the other end informed the whole time.

Our certifications and licensure

BIONIC’s technicians hold IICRC certification in Water Damage Restoration (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying (ASD). The IICRC, the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification, sets the technical standards the restoration industry is measured against: how moisture should be mapped, when a structure is actually dry versus surface-dry, what drying equipment ratios a given space calls for. Carrying both certifications means the drying plan on a job isn’t a guess, it follows documented, repeatable methodology, which matters both for the outcome and for how cleanly a claim moves through an adjuster’s desk.

Where we work

Houston’s housing stock runs wide, postwar bungalows with original plumbing, 1970s and ’80s brick ranches, newer builds out toward the suburbs, and the city’s clay-heavy soil and high water table mean foundation movement and slab leaks show up more often here than in drier regions. Add a storm season that regularly brings heavy rain and the occasional hurricane remnant, and water intrusion is less an occasional emergency than a recurring fact of life for area homeowners. BIONIC responds throughout Houston and the surrounding communities, handling the kind of calls that come in in the middle of a bad week and need someone on the way, not a callback next business day.
